 HEALTHY METHI SAMBAR

Methi is one of the superfoods available for humankind even at a lower cost, the medical values of methi or fenugreek, or loads. It is a rich source of fibers, proteins, vitamins A and C, iron, and calcium. Methi seeds are one of the highly recommended medical plants in Ayurveda, being rich in photochemical, antidiabetic, antioxidant, and immunological booster. It is believed that sprouting improves the nutritional values of methi seeds, by reducing the fiber content which makes it easy to digest and absorb in the system easily. Not just that also helps in many other ways like diabetes control, weight loss, cardiac health, digestion, relieving menopause symptoms, hair and skincare, In lactating mother, even it can help in inducing and easing childbirth.

I know the intro was a bit long but it contains tons of valuable properties in it, even I can write a whole article just about methi. And I wish this to be known to everyone so that everyone can be benefited. So now getting to my story, my mom is one the big propagator of methi seeds in every possible way, her all-time famous preparations are vendaya kali, which everyone asks her, to prepare some, for them and the only person who refuses to eat that is me, just me. It always happens right, we won't realize the value of something too good when it is easily available. But later on, when I was pregnant, the new version of me, who is ready to do anything for the good of her child started eating it and ended up loving it. I may post the recipe later. But now,

This recipe is easy to prepare it won't take much time or effort and this particular recipe is from my mother-in-law who always prefers the healthy food and she learned it from her mom. So enough of stories I guess, because I am tempted to write about my mother-in-law's story which many of you won't appreciate😃. Methi sambar will be great to eat with rice and chapati as well.
