 REFRESHING GINGER LEMON TEA


Ginger is one of the powerful spices, that I am just overwhelmed by getting to know the health benefits of ginger roots. I would like to call this as an all-rounder in human health. It helps in lots of ways to keep our body healthy. To mention a few of the benefits of ginger, Good for digestion, Keeps diabetes away, Promotes weight loss, healthy hair and skin, Protects against Alzheimer's, Muscle pain reliever, Fights against germs internally, calms nausea, Eases Arthritis Symptoms, Eases Periods Pain, Lowers Cholesterol, Protects Against Diseases, and the list goes on.

That's a lot to expect from a small root, right. Now, Ginger Lemon Tea is my all-time favorite beverage(Sorry "Coffee"😉), It's simply awesome folks. In general, I love the flavor of ginger so, me liking ginger tea is not a surprise. Instead, my husband who just hates ginger (The reason maybe Me Since I use lots of ginger in cooking😂 ) even he won't like ginger in tea, loves this ginger lemon tea. He was so against this ginger lemon tea, but after realizing its benefits it really works on him, changed him completely. 

The documentary 'Game Changer' really changed a lot of our routines, one important change is reducing dairy products as much as possible since it's an animal product. We are trying our best to reduce the intake of dairy in ours and our kids' diet. So now, our new routine is morning black coffee and evening ginger lemon tea. It really works wonders for us. I can drink this anytime.

In this current situation, one of the scary symptoms is sore throat/throat pain, especially after you went out for any important reasons. Those false alarms can be immediately cured with one cup of this ginger tea. And I didn't mention about the taste yet, Its the most refreshing beverage I have ever tried. It's simply awesome there is nothing to complain about this ginger lemon tea. If you never tried it before, its time, just try it immediately, here is the recipe,

  

INGREDIENTS:

1. Ginger            -2inch piece.
2. Lemon            -1no.
3. Jaggery          -2spoons.
4. Water              -21/2cups.

METHOD:

1. Boil 2 cups of water in a saucepan.
2. Shred the ginger piece into the boiling water for 5mins.
3. Now add jaggery and boil for 5 more minutes, then switch it off.
4. Now filter the tea to a serving glass and add squeed juice of half a lemon per cup.
5. That's it our refreshing Ginger Lemon Tea is ready to be served.

METHOD WITH PICTURES:

1. Boil 2 cups of water in a saucepan.


2. Shred the ginger piece into the boiling water for 5mins.



3. Now add jaggery and boil for 5 more minutes, then switch it off.



4. Now filter the tea to a serving glass and add squeed juice of half a lemon per cup. Tha's all our Refreshing Ginger Lemon Tea is ready to be served.


NOTE:

1. Instead of jaggery, you can use any sweetener like, honey or sugar. But we prefer jaggery since it reminds us of one of our traditional beverages which is available during the festive time😅.
2. If you are planning to make this tea often then, for a change you can add half a spoon of tea powder along with ginger.
3. You can even drink it cold by adding some ice cubes.
4. If you prefer to use this tea for throat pain, then and a 1/4spoon pepper powder for better results.
