 Healthy Tasty Sweet Paniyaram

           
This is one of the interesting paniyaram recipes ever I tried before, it's completely healthy and tasty too.  In our family, we prefer tasty yet healthy food all day long, it's really important too. Because Health is Wealth right. So all my recipes will consist of some healthy ingredients without fail.

Every meal is very important to everyone, especially for kids, it's mommy's responsibility to make sure that we are eating the right food. That's how I see food and I like to share with everyone because I wish the same for you guys as well, which is the main motto of this blog.

The story behind this recipe is, once my husband bought flaxseeds and chia seeds after realizing those are too good for health and we left with no idea about how to incorporate them with our regular cooking and I was searching for some egg substitute for baking there I get to know that ground chia seeds and flaxseeds are one the major egg substitutes, then with my creativity,😉 I gave it a shot to this recipe since my kids love paniyaram in general, surprisingly it turned out well.

It is so soft, tasty, and extremely healthy. So let us check out this recipe starting with ingredients.

INGREDIENTS:

Preparation Time: 10mins        
Cooking Time: 15mins
Serves:2

1. Wheat flour                -1cup.
2. Jaggery                      -50grams.
3. Flaxseed Powder      -1tsp.
4. Chia seed powder     -1tsp.
5. Water                          -11/4cup.
6. Cardamom Powder -1/4tsp(optional).
7. Baking soda               -Pinch(optional).

METHOD:

1. In a pan heat some water and dissolve jaggery and strain it to remove dirt. No need to worry about consistency just boil enough to dissolve jaggery completely.
2. In a mixing bowl add all the dry ingredients and give it a mix. You can add a pinch of salt to enhance the sweetness of the recipe.
3. Now add strained jaggery water to the mixture. Just make sure the water is at room temperature.
4. Add more water to adjust the consistency of the batter. Rest the batter for 10 minutes once it got the pouring consistency.
5. Heat the paniyaram pan with little oil and pour the batter on each paniyaram pan.
6. once you see some bottles on the top it's time to turn each of them to cook on the other side.
7. Remove from pan, once it turned golden brown.
8. That is all Healthy tasty wheat paniyaram is ready to be served.


METHOD WITH PICTURES:

1. Keep all the ingredients ready.


2. In a mixing bowl add all the dry ingredients and give it a mix. You can add a pinch of salt to enhance the sweetness of the recipe.


3. Now add strained jaggery water to the mixture. Just make sure the water is at room temperature.


4. Add more water to adjust the consistency of the batter. Rest the batter for 10 minutes once it got the pouring consistency.


5. Heat the paniyaram pan with little oil and pour the batter on each paniyaram pan.


6. once you see some bottles on the top it's time to turn each of them to cook on the other side.


7. Remove from pan, once it turned golden brown.


8. That is all Healthy tasty wheat paniyaram is ready to be served.

            

NOTE:

1. The batter may look too sticky, no need to worry that is the exact consistency we want for the recipe it's gonna give a soft and wonderful texture to the paniyaram.
2. If you don't have both seeds, no problem you can still make this with anyone the seed powder, or even if you don't have any of the seeds you can give it a try by adding a spoon of baking soda instead of a pinch in the recipe. We used the seeds here for their wonderful health benefits.
3. If you don't have the paniyaram pan, you can use the batter to make pancakes on your regular tawa.
