 NEW LOOK TO BROKEN CRAYONS.

Kids love colors it is a universal truth. So they always tend to play with watercolors, sketches, and crayons. Crayons are easily breakable so every time they use them lots of small pieces will be going to the trash and again we will buy a new set of crayons. Here we going to see a simple method to avoid the waste as well as make it much interesting for them to play by giving the broken crayons a new look.

It's time for my story, one day during the first lockdown phase my kids were coloring with their crayons I was busy in the kitchen, and their dad was busy with his work. all of a sudden it was pin-drop silent at home except kitchen 😜. I and my husband got alarmed by the sudden silence at home we clearly got it something messy is definitely going on with them, just like we expected both the guys are literally breaking crayons as small as possible using their vegetable toy knife. I really have no idea about the way their brain works, isn't it😅? Then the next day both the guys are demanding us a new set of crayons. Because of new tension with COVID-19 buying one was not an option and then I came up with this idea and it was super fun and now I waiting for that to happen again so that I can make a new batch.
So, let's see how to do this.

INGREDIENTS:

1. Broken Crayons        -1cup
2. Mold                              -Whatever available at home.
3. Vegetable oil              -1tsp.

METHOD:

1. Grease the mold with oil and add the broken crayons to it.
2. Heat a pan or boil water to melt the crayon.
3. Keep the mold in the stove until the crayon got melted and switch off.
4. Let the crayon set and remove it from the mold.
5. That is all our, we just gave the broken crayons a whole new look.

METHOD WITH PICTURES:

1. Grease the mold with oil and add the broken crayons to it.

2. Heat a pan or boil water to melt the crayon.

3. Keep the mold in the stove until the crayon got melted and switch off and let it cool completely.

5. That is all our, we just gave the broken crayons a whole new look.

   NOTE:

1. Choose a mold that can be expanded, so that we can remove crayon from the mold once it is set.
2. You can use a conventional oven to melt the crayon. for that just place the mold in the oven and heat at 200 degrees Celcius for a few minutes and bring it out.

Hope you like this post and let me know your experience with this fun project in the comments. One more important thing to remember always "Stay Positive and Keep Smiling😀".
