ECO-FRIENDLY GANESHA WITH HOMEMADE PLAY DOUGH

Celebrating festivals is the simplest way to teach our kids our traditions and family values. Though Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most widely celebrated festivals, since, kids love Ganesh without any doubt, this year lets celebrate Chaturthi by making Ganesh with kid's favorite Homemade play-dough. Yes, I know this year celebration won't be grand as always it used to be, but no need to give up the spirit of festive because of that nano creature, which is keeping the whole world in stand-by.

This is one of the important times to keep our inner self strong and relax. So this is a chance to cheer up ourselves to move forward. Even though we cannot go out and purchase especially for Chaturthi Still we have tons of options to make special without taking any risks as well, for example, we can decorate our home with available natural flowers or even with paper flowers, by making paper Ganesha, even we can simply draw, and so on.

Now, we're going to make Ganesha with our homemade play-doh and I have shown two options to make, one is really simple that anyone can make, and the other option is a bit hard depending on your experience with the dough but I tried my best to make it doable for everyone. And if you want to see my homemade playdough recipe, kindly follow the link,https://allaroundme360.blogspot.com/2020/07/homemade-play-dough-without-cream-of.html

All that has been said let's see both the options one-by-one, starting with the simple version,

OPTION 1:

This is a super simple version that will take a maximum of 10mins to finish this. Here we gonna use four colors,

If you are not confident, that the ears will stay are not then, in the back, just take a small portion of dough flat it and then stick above the ear portion.

That's all our Eco-friendly Ganesha is ready for some celebration.

OPTION 2:

For Ganesha body part here I used a dark orange color and made different size balls to make a specific part,

For head, take the second large ball and shape it as shown,

For ears, at the top side press towards out using your thumb finger as shown at both sides.

For Body part, take the big ball of dough and shape it as shown,

Now, at the back of the head insert a small stick, like a toothpick to fix at the body part,

Fix to the body part,

For hands,

For legs,

Make impressions to look like a dhoti,

For foot,

For angavastram or thundu,

Make an impression to look like a thundu,

Adjust the face a bit and create eyes and all other decorations you want,

For the crown,

That is all, our Ganesha is ready to taste some laddus😃.

NOTE:

1. Whatever I have shown above is just an idea, feel free to add your creativity by making more jewels, mouse, thambulam and etc.
2. My dough is a bit dry so with a smooth dough finishing will be much better.
3. Kindly ignore the clumsiness of the picture with uneven size, will correct it in my upcoming posts.

I hope my post is clear enough to make your own eco-friendly Ganesha with the homemade play-dough. And I wish You All a Happy Vinayaga Chaturthi. Always remember "Stay Positive and Keep Smiling😊".
